How the prices get here

Fares are pulled automatically,
not typed in by hand.

Most travel-advisor sites show a price that was accurate the day someone wrote it. These are read from each cruise line's own booking system on a schedule. Below is every feed, when it last ran, and how current it is at the moment this page was built.

Every price feed on this site

Feed Refreshes Last checked
Virgin Voyages Virgin Voyages fares Sun, Mon, Wed, Fri
Heroes & Hometown Heroes & Hometown fares Sun, Mon, Wed, Fri
Virgin Voyages solos Virgin Voyages solo fares Wednesday and Saturday
Royal Caribbean Royal Caribbean fares Every night
Norwegian Studios Norwegian Studio fares Every morning
Norwegian last-minute Norwegian last-minute fares Every morning
All-Inclusive Resort details Weekly, Monday

One feed is behind schedule. This page says so rather than rounding it off. Ask me for anything on All-Inclusive and I will re-price it live before you decide.

Timestamps come from inside each data file — the moment the cruise line was actually read — not from when the file was last written. Those are not the same thing, and using the second one is how a five-week-old price ends up looking a day old.

What an automatically pulled fare can and cannot tell you

It is good evidence of

  • Which sailings are genuinely cheap this week, not last quarter
  • How one ship or cabin grade compares against another, priced the same day
  • Whether a fare has moved since you last looked
  • Which sailings are worth a real quote and which are not

It is not

  • A held price — nothing is held until deposit
  • A total: gratuities and airfare sit outside it
  • Proof of availability in the exact cabin you want
  • A substitute for a quote on a sailing you are serious about

Questions about the pricing

Are these the prices I will actually pay?
They are the lowest fare the cruise line was publishing for that sailing when the page was last built, for the occupancy shown. Cruise fares move daily and are not held until a booking is made and deposited, so treat the number as an accurate starting point rather than a quote. Anything you are seriously considering, I re-price live before you commit.
What is not included in the number shown?
Gratuities and airfare are not included. Where a fare is shown per person it assumes two sharing unless the page says otherwise; solo fares are labelled as solo. Any fare requiring eligibility — resident, military, first responder — is labelled on the page that shows it.
Why do some pages say "last confirmed" instead of "checked"?
Because the data behind that page is older than its normal refresh window. The wording changes on its own rather than waiting for someone to notice. A feed that has fallen behind is still useful — it just is not evidence of today's price, and the page will not claim it is.
Where do the prices come from?
Directly from each cruise line's own booking system, read the same way your browser would read it. Nothing is retyped by hand, which is what makes a daily refresh possible at all — and it is also why an error is a pipeline failure rather than a typo.
