Travel Styles
Four ways of travelling, at four different depths.
Most advisors list their specialisms as though they were all equally strong. Ours are not, and the numbers below are the real ones — 25 tagged pieces, distributed very unevenly. Where a section is thin it says so, because the alternative is finding out after you have booked.
Where we are deep, and where we are not
Accessible Travel
The deepest section here, and the only one with its own vetted-vendor standard. Every operator carries a label saying whether it was personally used or only researched, because the difference is the whole value of the word "vetted".
8 tagged pieces →Solo
The ground this business stands on. Solo is not a discount to hunt — it is a fare structure, and the difference between paying 127% and 194% of the per-person double rate is usually the sailing you chose, not the deal you found.
11 tagged pieces →LGBTQ+
New, and one article deep. We became an IGLTA member in September 2026 and the writing has not caught up. The hub says that in as many words rather than dressing up a thin shelf.
1 tagged piece →Adults-only
The 18+ filter is the house default, not an upsell. What it actually buys is a passenger mix, and on some lines that is the whole proposition while on others it is only marketing.
5 tagged pieces →Why these four, and why they are one section
They are the axis a traveller actually arrives on. Somebody planning Barcelona with a mobility need and somebody planning Barcelona for a first solo trip want different halves of the same research, and until recently this site made them read all of it to find their half.
So every destination hub now carries a lens for each of these four — pick one and the page re-reads itself for that traveller, including telling you plainly when there is nothing there. This section is the same idea from the other direction.
An empty column is information. Across the ten featured destinations the LGBTQ+ lens is empty in all ten. That is a real fact about this site as it stands today, it is written into the pages rather than hidden by them, and it is the top of the commissioning queue rather than a permanent state.
What this is not
It is not a set of filters over the same content with different headings. Each of these has its own reporting standard, and in the accessible section its own vendor-vetting rule. It is also not the full list of who we work with — heroes and first-responder rates, senior fares and resident rates all live inside the individual cruise lines, because that is where the eligibility rules actually differ.
Tell me which of these you are, and I will tell you where we are weak.
Including when the honest answer is that somebody else has written more on your particular trip than we have. That answer is free, and it is worth more than a page pretending otherwise.
